The more the merrier, however your site fee covers up to 2 people. There is a per/night charge per additional adult or child on your site (over 2 people) which will vary depending on if your booking falls in low or high season.
Camp sites vary in size. Please see our site map and discuss your needs at the time of booking if you require a space outside of our standard offering.
Campers can check in any time after 1pm however if you are glamping with us in one of our deluxe safari tents check in is from 2pm. You can request an early check in or late check out for an additional $50.
Check out time for is 11am. Glamping tents is at 10am so we have time to turn our accommodation around for incoming guests. You can request an early check in or late check out for an additional $50.
Yes, you can have a fire as long as there are no existing fire bans. Splitters Farm has a fire pit at each powered camp site with the ability to purchase fire wood for $20 a bag from our site office during opening hours.
Yes, we have 8 luxury eco safari tents at Splitters Farm. These creek-side luxury eco tents feature full bathroom and kitchen facilities for the ultimate 5-star glamping experience.
Dogs are welcome at Splitters Farm as we are ‘dog tolerant’. Should you wish to bring your dog please let us know and you will be asked to complete a Dog Registration Form at reception upon arrival. It is unacceptable to have dogs off a leash at any time as we have many free-ranged animals. Owners are responsible for picking up after their dog and will be held liable if their dog kills / injures our rescue animals or wildlife.

Yes, of course. Our range of site size options allow for any sized caravan, motorhome, RV, Camper Trailer or pop-top. Please see our site map for suitable options.
Yes, we do have a few sites with concrete slabs available. Please state this as a ‘special request’ when making your booking.
Most of the access roads at Splitters Farm are between 3-6 metres wide with many turn around points allowing for small to large vehicles and buses.
The maximum distance from the furthest camp site to our amenities block is just 60 metres. We are open to you choosing your camp site location where possible for a small additional fee. Please see our site map or call us for more information.
Is it Australia? Yes, of course we have mozzies from time to time however because we’re in a rural location however we rarely have midges or sand flies. Bring your Aeroguard just in case.
Yes, although snakes have been seen at the property most are just harmless pythons. If you are staying during snake breeding season our staff will advise areas to avoid and how you and your family can avoid an encounter.
Splitters Creek is a fresh water creek
Yes, however common sense always prevails. No swimming after heavy rain and no diving at any time as submerged trees and rocks can be very dangerous. We do not encourage swimming whilst under the influence of alcohol or night swimming under any circumstances.
Yes, at certain times of the year you are most welcome to swim in our dam however this is at your own risk.
No, as Splitters Creek is fresh water there are no crocs or sharks, just some friendly water dragons & platypus.
Yes, camp sites are well lit without intrusive lighting. We suggest you bring a torch for night walks to and from camp sites and amenities. The park is monitored by CCTV cameras and campers have access via a boom gate/swipe card system.
Yes, access paths are flat and wide and we offer parking, toilets and showers to suit wheelchair access. BBQ and camp kitchen areas have been created with disability access & seating in mind.
Yes, male and female amenities are separated however Splitters Farm also offers a family bathroom that’s lockable for those who require a little extra space and privacy when showering young ones as a family unit. Please ask our staff how to access this facility upon check in.
Coffee, bread, milk & snacks are available for sale at our site office.
Sharon shop is a 2min drive west of Splitters Farm. You can buy petrol and basic supplies including burgers and fast food. If you require a more substantial shop from a supermarket, IGA Bundaberg North is a 6-7 min drive by car. Alternatively Bundaberg Central is just a 10min drive over the bridge and has two major shopping centres including Coles, Woothworths and Aldi.
At times of the year we offer damper making, pizza nights, and we have a barista onsite during school holidays and most weekends between 9am -12noon. We also offer a range of pre-ordered picnic hampers which can be ordered a day prior. To find out more please give us a call. Day trippers are most welcome to BYO food to enjoy in our gardens until we are able to offer a café onsite.

Due to our delicate ecosystem, motor boats and jet skis are not permitted. You are however permitted to bring your own kayak, canoe or non-powered watercraft.

Yes, Splitters Creek is best suited for Bass fishing and we generally catch barramundi or silver perch from the dam. We encourage catch-n-release fishing only. Bass lures work best in our experience or frogs poppers for the barra.
Bring a good light-weight bass finishing rod, bass spinner lures, a small landing net. If you have a snag tool bring it, they do some in handy with all the trees and snags under the water in the creek.
Yes, we do hire fishing gear on request however lures work best with regards to catching fish at Splitters Farm so we don’t stock bait. Bait can be purchased in Bundaberg or at Sharon shop 2min drive up the road.
Yes, the property is designed for tour buses and features 6 metre wide access roads and turn around points.
Yes, tours operate 7 days a week and visitors can meet and feed the animals as part of a guided or self-guided tour. Outside of these tours we discourage feeding the animals. This is because if our animals are fed the incorrect food, they can suffer adverse health effects as a result.
No, our nature tracks are for walkers and hikers only and we enjoy the peace and serenity that comes with our property. We hope our visitors understand.
No, not currently but it’s something we may look into offering down the track if there is demand. We insist that children are supervised at all times on the farm especially around the creek and dam.
